Breakfast & Drive to Periyar (200 kms/ 5 hrs), one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries of India. The drives is pretty. The green slopes and the dense shola forests in the folds of the hills offer varied, protected habitats for birds. Nilgiri langurs, lion-tailed macaques and other monkeys abound. Arrive and check-in at Wild Corridor.Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Periyar is spread out over an area of 777 sq. km. in Idukki district, on the Tamil Nadu border. |
